Hiiiii. Sometimes Cara makes a high pitch sound that sort of resembles hiii. We might be on to something. Well, Cara had a big week last week. She turned 6 months old on the 11th of April and she also went to the beach for the first time. We took a trip to Gulf Shores for Ryan's Spring Break. I got Cara a beach hat, and little swimmers, rubbed her down with sunscreen and we get to the beach...she's not a fan...yet! She didn't like the heat, sand, water..pretty much everything that had to do with the beach. She did however like it in the mornings when we would stand on the shore watching the waves. She seemed to be hypnotized by it, but who isn't..the beach is amazing. We also tried her in the heated pool that was about the temperature of bath water and she didn't like that very much either. She would be okay if you held her tight, but not so much if you tried to splash around or have any fun. Hopefully as she gets older she will like the beach more, but if not, at least she won't be as expensive as I thought.
We go to the Dr. tomm. for her 6 month check up. We also get the final round of shots..for now at least. A new round starts at a year. She's tough though. I'm hoping to start giving her some bananas and sweet potatoes, we'll see what the Dr. says. She's got two teeth though, so she's probably ready for cake. A kid after my own heart.
Also worth noting..Carebear is almost crawling. She's up on all fours, but not quite advanced to know what to do when she gets up there, so she's more or less doing handstands rather than any crawling. It's hard when your head is so big cause of your big, smart brain. I'm gonna attach some beach pictures, but I promise to upload some videos soon.
