Luck of the Irish

This year we had a rather memorable St. Patrick's Day. Cara's class went all out with leprechaun shenanigans. After the kids awoke from their naps, they found the room in shambles; chairs upside down, glitter everywhere and candy and gold stuffed in their shoes. I'd like to extend a big thank you to the school for doing that, because glitter will never be sprinkled all over my floor! We also celebrated ourselves, with festive food and drinks and found it to be the perfect opportunity to release some lanterns I purchased on Amazon. If you've seen the movie Tangled you might be privy to the floating lights. Let me tell you what, there was nothing floating about these lights. They needed a lot, A LOT of encouragement to get up in the air. We are fortunate nobody's house was burned down in the process. Guess we had the luck of the Irish that night!
